You

You
by c. e. poley
      I want
             to rip
                the world
                                — in two,
     And travel
           far away
        with you:
I want to tear    a   p   a   r    t
      the TOWN,
and lose my twice-lost heart to sound:
Without the  w      l
                              a         l
                                          s
                               of urban life,
      Out on the cliffs
                             of
                            love
                            and
                           strife,
I rip the world in           tw  —  ain              with you,
And touch your face,
            my only true
    traveller,
         lover,
        friend,
     and so:
   the one who loves me,
      makes me grow.

Ridiculous, curious, most likely delirious.

I love a great story, whether it comes in the form of words or visual stimuli. I believe everyone has a story to tell, and I love to share mine.

Please feel free to read along, comment, share your own stories, or send me a message via the contact page. Thanks for your time reading my words.
